Air Conditioning System Overview
The air conditioning system on the Audi AS 2.0T features a Climatronic control module, which is responsible for regulating the temperature and air distribution in the vehicle. The module is equipped with a trim piece -B- that is secured to the Climatronic control module -A- using clips -C- or two-sided adhesive tape.
Coolant Pump and Start/Stop System
The vehicle is equipped with a Start/Stop system, which is controlled by the Climatronic control module. The system is designed to shut off the engine when the vehicle comes to a stop and restart it when the driver is ready to move again. The coolant pump -V50- (water pump -V36-) differs depending on the date of manufacture and version of the vehicle.
Air Distribution Housing and Trim Piece
The air distribution housing features a trim piece -B- that is secured to the Climatronic control module -A- using clips -C- or two-sided adhesive tape. The trim piece is supplied with a two-sided adhesive strip -C- that must be removed and cleaned before reattachment.
