Aston Martin History

The first Aston Martin cars were manufactured by Bamford & Martin Ltd in 1913.

The Thoroughbred Sports Car Club was formed in 1981, with a focus on motor sports and Aston Martin cars.

Early Events

In 1981, the club organized lap dash events at Amaroo Park, Oran Park, and Motorkhanas, with several members participating in their Aston Martins.

In 1982, the club arranged events such as the Silverdale Hill Climb, Oran Park Lap Dash, and Bathurst Hill Climb, with various Aston Martin models attending.
