Supported Models and Years
This manual provides information on connecting AiM devices to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) data stream for Aston Martin models DB9 (2004-2016), Vantage (2005-2017), and Vanquish (2012-2018).
Connection and Configuration
The models feature a bus communication protocol based on CAN, accessible through the OBD II plug. Before connecting the AiM device to the ECU, set all functions using AiM software Race Studio.
The manual explains the protocols and channels received by AiM devices, including “Aston Martin CAN HS” and “Aston Martin CAN BUS” protocols, which provide various data channels such as RPM, speed, gear, throttle pedal position, and more.
