Service Action: Bonnet-Vent Water Shields

This service action is applicable to Aston Martin DB11 V12 models with a specific VIN range.

The purpose of this service action is to prevent water from entering the bonnet vents and causing misfires.

Workshop Procedure:

Open the bonnet and remove the three nuts at the bottom of the left side vent.

Attach the left side water shield to the bonnet using the removed nuts.

Repeat the process for the right side vent.

Make an entry in Section A of the Vehicle Owner’s Guide to show that the procedure is completed.
