Low-Speed Brake Modulation
This service bulletin addresses customer complaints about difficult brake modulation at low speed and smooth driving to a stop.
The solution involves updating the software of the Electronic Stability & Park Brake (ESP) Module and performing a brake bleed procedure using the Aston Martin Diagnostic System (AMDS) 2.0 software.
Workshop Procedure
The workshop procedure consists of two parts:
- ESP Module Software Update (applicable to vehicles up to VIN L03549)
- AMDS 2.0 Brake Bleed Procedure (applicable to all vehicles)
Note: Air bubbles in the hydraulic fluid can decrease the “feel” of the brake pedal.
