Warranty Extension
Nissan is extending the warranty coverage on Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVTs) for certain models from 60 months/60,000 miles to 84 months/84,000 miles.
Affected Models
2012-2017 Versa Sedan (N1z), 2014-2017 Versa Note (E12), 2013-2017 Sentra (B17), 2013-2016 Altima (L33), and 2013-2017 Juke (F15)
Coverage
The warranty extension includes the CVT assembly, internal components, gaskets, seals, CVT control valve body, torque converter, cooler kit, and reprogramming of the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
Rental Coverage
Rental is available while CVT repairs or replacements are completed.
Dealer Responsibilities
Dealers must verify warranty coverage, diagnose the root cause of customer concerns, and provide repair estimates.
