Introduction
This guide provides information about the gearboxes used in Alfa Romeo MiTo models.
Gearbox Variants
The MiTo models have different gearboxes, including the C510.5, C514.6, M32, and C635.
The 1.3 diesel models were initially fitted with the M20 gearbox, but later models from 2010 were fitted with the 5-speed C510.5.
The 1.6 diesel models had issues with the M32 gearbox, and later models from 2013 were fitted with the C635 gearbox.
The 170bhp petrol models were fitted with the C635 gearbox.
Identifying Your Gearbox
To identify which gearbox your MiTo has, you can check the Variant code in Section 4 of your document from the DVLA.
