Front Brakes
This manual provides instructions for the removal and assembly of front brakes on the Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4/1.3/1.6 JTDm.
Important Notes
Brake fluid is hygroscopic and should be changed at regular intervals. It is also important to ensure that brake pad wear sensors are properly connected and secured.
Parking Brake
The parking brake should be adjusted after replacing rear brake pads or the complete cable. The adjustment process involves loosening the adjuster nut, applying the parking brake, and tightening the nut until the rear wheels are braked.
Hydraulic Circuit Filling and Bleeding
The manual provides instructions for bleeding the braking system, including setting the operating overpressure to 1.0 bar and ensuring that the brake-clutch fluid level is between MIN and MAX marks.
