Agero 2020-2023 Porsche Taycan Mechanical Release of Charge Plug

Best Practices and Procedures

In the event that the charging plug refuses to disengage from the charging port, a mechanical release is available to free the plug.

Release Location

The release can be found on either the driver’s side or passenger’s side door.

To access the release, open the door and look for the release on the back side of the fender at the top.

Driver Side

Pull the release towards the back of the vehicle.

Passenger Side

Remove the charge cord from the charge port.
