Fuel Information
Acura recommends using unleaded premium gasoline with a pump octane number of 91 or higher for optimal engine performance. Using lower octane gasoline can cause engine knocking and decreased performance.
It is also recommended to use TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline, which meets a new gasoline standard jointly established by leading automotive manufacturers, to help maintain the performance and reliability of the vehicle.
Refueling
The fuel tank has a capacity of 12.39 US gal (46.9 L) and does not have a fuel filler cap. The fuel fill door can be unlocked from the driver’s door and must be refueled with a service station filler nozzle.
It is important to handle fuel carefully, as it is highly flammable and explosive, and to wipe up spills immediately.
