Affected Vehicles
The recall affects 2024 Land Rover Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover Velar vehicles built between November 2023 and February 2024.
Description of Defect
The incorrect specification of plastic was used to manufacture the oil filter housing, which can crack over time, causing oil leaks and potentially leading to fires or skid hazards.
Remedy
Vehicles will have the oil filter housing replaced free of charge, and the affected vehicles are still under warranty.
