The Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) is a critical step in satisfying new car customers. Customer feedback indicates that careful inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings, proper operation of electrical accessories, interior cleanliness, and proper function of mechanical systems deserve special attention.

Important Notes

A universal PDS Check Sheet has been developed, and dealers must complete all procedures contained in this bulletin as well as the universal PDS Check Sheet.

If the vehicle is stored for over 30 days, dealers must follow Long-Term Vehicle Storage Guidelines (USA) or Long-Term Vehicle Storage Guidelines (Mexico).
