Rapid Update Information
This Rapid Update is for Maserati MC20 and MC20 Cielo (M240) models from MY22 and MY23, listed in MODISCS+.
The update involves replacing both rear axle shafts to guarantee better performance and longer lifespan.
Important Notes
All Rapid Updates must be performed within the first workshop visit, regardless of the Mandatory setting in Modis.
For vehicles in Stock Dealer PDI, all action operations must be carried out before delivery to the end customer.
Procedure Overview
Disconnect the battery, remove and replace the left and right drive shafts, and perform a vehicle alignment.
Visually inspect the inner shaft boot and its caps for any presence of grease and torn boot.
Use a Torque Wrench and follow the workshop manual instructions for tightening and torqueing screws.
Spare Parts and Warranty Claim
Order the required spare parts kit, which includes both rear drive shafts and screws, as soon as the service entry is booked.
Complete the warranty claim with the provided codes and operation details.
