Introduction
Some 2018-2024 model year Lexus vehicles may exhibit a hybrid system warning lamp occurring in below-freezing temperatures (below 32°F or 0°C).
After performing a Health Check, one or both of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) may be present: P1C8449 (High Voltage Power Resource Circuit Short during Ready ON) and P300449 (High Voltage Power Resource Circuit Short during Pre-Charge).
Applicability
This bulletin applies to various Lexus models, including ES 300h, LC 500h, LS 500h, NX 350h, NX 450h+, RX 350h, and UX 250h, produced between 2018 and 2024.
The repair procedure is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty and/or Powertrain Warranty, depending on the model year and emission control system.
