This manual provides tips and guidelines for operating your 2023 Kia Niro EV. It covers various features, including Voice Recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Charging Your Vehicle

The Niro EV offers Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging options. Level 1 charging uses a 110V household outlet and takes up to 57 hours for a full charge. Level 2 charging uses a 240V outlet and takes approximately 6 hours for a full charge. DC Fast Charging can charge the vehicle to 80% in about 43 minutes.

Regenerative Braking

The Niro EV features regenerative braking, which captures kinetic energy and converts it into electrical energy to recharge the battery. The system can be adjusted using paddle switches on the steering wheel.

Safety Features

The vehicle is equipped with Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Lane Following Assist (LFA) to enhance safety on the road.

Navigation and Climate Control

The Niro EV features a navigation system that can automatically adjust vehicle speed based on posted speed limits. The climate control system offers various modes, including an auto defogging feature to reduce windshield fogging.
