Issue:
Some customers may experience a steering wheel shudder/vibration when traveling at highway speeds and hitting an irregular road surface.
Cause:
The condition may be caused by a loss of fluid from the hydraulic mount on the rear position of the front lower control arm.
Correction:
Inspect the rear bushings on the front lower control arms for looseness or dark streaks on the bottoms signifying fluid loss. If rear control arm bushing shows current or past signs of leakage, then replace both lower control arm rear bushings and reevaluate on same road surface.
