Fuel Systems
Modifications to fuel systems are the responsibility of the Final Stage Manufacturer, including compliance with F/CMVSS 301 regulations.
Always refer to the Ram Service Manual before servicing any portion of the fuel system, and ensure fuel rail pressure is released before opening any fuel system component.

Use of fuel fill kits provided by Ram Trucks is recommended, and installation is the responsibility of the Final Stage Manufacturer.
Mount fuel system components securely to avoid contact with the vehicle chassis and sharp edges.
Auxiliary Fuel Port
An auxiliary fuel tap is provided on gas and diesel fuel tanks for secondary power systems, and installing a check valve is recommended to prevent OBD11 system faults.
Exhaust Systems
Modifying the exhaust system is not recommended, as it may affect compliance with F/CMVSS and/or CARB/EPA certification requirements.
Cooling Systems
Do not modify the original equipment cooling system, and ensure that secondary equipment does not block grill and bumper openings forward of the radiators.
Upfitter AC Taps
Specifications for upfitter AC taps are provided, including liquid and suction line fittings and refrigerant leakage information.
