Voluntary Service Campaign

Kia is conducting a voluntary service campaign to update the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) software logic in certain 2020-2022 MY Telluride vehicles.

This campaign is necessary because the FCA system may misalign if foreign material, snow, or roadway debris blocks the front radar, causing improper obstacle detection without warning the driver.

What to Do

Contact your Kia dealer to schedule a service appointment to update the FCA software.

Maintain the front sensor and sensor cover by keeping them clean and free of dirt, snow, and debris.

Refer to the “Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)” section of your owner’s manual for additional radar maintenance and precautions.
