The Quick Reference Guide for the 2019 Jeep Cherokee provides an overview of the vehicle’s features, including the Uconnect 4C NAV system with an 8.4-inch display.

Speed Control and Adaptive Cruise Control

The Speed Control system can be engaged at speeds above 25 mph, taking over accelerator operations. The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system increases the driving convenience provided by cruise control, allowing the vehicle to maintain a set speed.

Setting and Resuming Speed

To set a desired speed, push the SET (+) button and release. To resume a previously set speed, push the RES button and release. The ACC system applies limited braking or acceleration to maintain preset following distance.

Cancelling ACC

ACC can be cancelled by pressing the CANC button, or through the brake pedal or normal brake pressure while slowing down. The system will also cancel if a stationary vehicle is in front of the vehicle in close proximity.

The guide also explains the usage of the Distance Setting, which can be increased or decreased, and the function of the SET (+) and SET (-) buttons.
