Important Safety and Installation Notes
Please read this instruction manual carefully before starting the installation of the trailer hitch.
Installation Instructions
The first step is to remove the rear panel and lower the spare tire. Then, remove the rear bumper fascia by pulling back the tail light cover and releasing the clips.
Tools Required
The following tools are necessary for the installation:
- 1/2″ and 3/8″ drive torque wrench(es)
- Zmm socket
- 1/2″ and 3/8″ drive racket
- Needle nose pliers
- Flat head screwdriver
- 6″ socket extension
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Touch up paint
- Mm open end wrench
- Side cutter
- 3/8″ open end wrench
- Sandpaper or scouring pad (Scotch Brite)
- 19mm deep well socket
- 17mm deep well socket
- 14mm deep well socket
- 10mm socket
