Important Safety Recall
This notice applies to certain Model Year 2018-2022 Ferrari 812 vehicles due to a defect in the brake reservoir fluid cap, which may not vent properly, potentially leading to a partial or total loss of braking capability.
Corrective Action
Ferrari will repair the vehicle free of charge by replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and updating the software to provide different warning messages if the vehicle loses sufficient brake fluid.
The repair is estimated to take approximately 1 hour and will be performed by an authorized Ferrari dealer.
In the meantime, if a “Brake fluid level low” message appears on the dashboard, owners are advised to pull off the road safely and contact Ferrari Roadside Assistance.
