Your Vehicle’s Features

Your Kia Optima Plug-in Hybrid has several features that enhance your driving experience, including:

Hybrid Battery Air Intake: Located behind the rear seats, the hybrid battery air intake cools down the hybrid battery. Never block this intake with any objects, as it can cause overheating.

Parking Tail Light: When in the parking light position, the tail, license, and instrument panel lights turn ON.

Headlight Position: When in the headlight position, the head, tail, and license lights turn ON. Note that the ignition switch must be in the ON position to turn on the headlights.

The headlamp will automatically turn off 60 seconds after you’ve switched off the wiper. If you have any questions, please always check with your Kia dealer.
