Recall Information

This document provides information on safety recalls for various MOPAR vehicles, including the Dodge Journey, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Viper, and Ram.

RO3 Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) Module Recall

This recall affects certain 2009-2010 model year Dodge Journey vehicles, as well as certain 2008-2010 model year Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country vehicles.

The Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) Module may have unintentional movement of the Frequency Operated Button Ignition Key, or FOBIK, from the “ON” to the “Accessory” position while driving, which could cause unintended engine shut off and increase the risk of a crash.

For affected vehicles, dealers will replace the WIN module and two FOBIKs. The work will take approximately one hour to complete.

RO6 ORC Module/Filter Recall

This recall affects certain 2002-2003 model year Jeep Liberty vehicles, 2002-2004 model year Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles, and 2003-2004 model year Dodge Viper vehicles.

The Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) module may experience front airbag and/or seatbelt pretensioner inadvertent deployment, which could distract the driver and cause a crash without warning.

Safety Recall RO6 will upgrade a repair performed as part of a 2012 recall (M35 or N13). Due to a constrained supply of RO6 ORC modules, the final remedy and owner notification for this campaign will be launched in two phases.

R25 Driver Airbag Inflator Recall

This recall affects certain 2004-2008 model year Dodge Durango vehicles, 2004-2008 model year Dodge Ram pickup trucks, 2005-2009 model year Dodge Ram pickup trucks, and other vehicles.

The driver airbag inflator housing may rupture, due to excessive internal pressure, during normal airbag deployment events, which could result in metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring the vehicle occupants.

FCA will repair affected vehicles free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, dealers will replace the driver airbag inflator. The work will take up to one hour to complete.
