California Emission Warranty
This manual explains the emission control system warranty for 2016 model vehicles certified for sale and registered in California.
Warranty Coverage
FCA US LLC warrants the emission control system for 3 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, and for 7 years or 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first, for certain parts.
The warranty covers repairs and replacements of emission-related parts, including catalytic converters and powertrain control modules, at no cost to the owner.
Owner’s Responsibilities
Owners are responsible for performing required maintenance, retaining receipts, and presenting their vehicle to a dealer for warranty repairs.
FCA US may deny warranty coverage if the vehicle or part has failed due to abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
