Fluid Capacities
The 2016 Audi A5/A5 Cabriolet/S5 has various fluid capacities, including:
- Engine Oil: 4.5L (4.8 qt) for 2.0L TFSI engines and 6.8L (7.2 qt) for 3.0L V6 engines
- Cooling System: 10.0 L (10.5 qt) for 2.0L TFSI engines and 12.0 L (12.6 qt) for 3.0L V6 engines
- Brake System: uses Audi Brake Fluid Specification (8T35G9) and FMVSS 116 DOT 4 or SAE J 1703
- AIC System: uses refrigerant R134a with a PAG oil
Important Notes
Always use synthetic oil SAE 5W-40, 5W-30, or 0W-40, and refer to Technical Bulletin 2010043 for engine oils that meet the Audi oil standard.
Audi Coolant Additive Specification is G 13 (TL-VW774J), which should be diluted with Distilled Water.
