This booklet contains essential information about your NISSAN LEAF’s new vehicle limited warranty. It outlines the coverage duration, what is covered, and how to obtain warranty service.
New Vehicle Limited Warranty
The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the original purchaser or put into service, whichever is earlier. The warranty applies to NISSAN vehicles originally sold by a NISSAN authorized dealer in Canada and registered in Canada and normally operated in Canada or the Continental United States.
What is Covered and for How Long
The warranty covers basic coverage, power train, supplemental restraint system, corrosion surface corrosion, and perforation. The duration of coverage varies depending on the component, with some items covered for up to 10 years or unlimited.
What NISSAN Will Do
NISSAN will repair or replace failed components with new or authorized remanufactured parts at no charge to the customer.
What You Must Do
Properly maintain your vehicle, depending on your driving conditions, as outlined in the Service and Maintenance Guide and Section Appearance and Care in the Owners Manual.
