Safety Recall Campaign
Kia Canada has determined that a defect may exist in certain 2015-2021 model year Sedona vehicles equipped with trailer wire harness accessory.
The defect could cause the trailer brake lights to become inoperable and, in rare cases, may result in thermal damage to the rear of the vehicle, including the potential for fire.
What to Do
Contact your authorized Kia dealer to arrange for the recall repair to be performed on your vehicle.
Until the repair is performed, disconnect the trailer wire fuse from the power supply when not in use by following the customer fuse removal procedure.
