Introduction

This service update involves vehicles in dealer inventory only and will expire August 31, 2020. It addresses a torque converter shudder/shake issue caused by the current transmission fluid.

Correction

Dealers are to drain the old transmission fluid and refill with the new Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP fluid.

Please note that only specific part numbers are to be used for this repair, and caution is advised when selecting the correct parts.

Warranty Information

For vehicles repaired under the Powertrain coverage, use the following labor operation. Reference the Applicable Warranties section of Investigate Vehicle History (IVH) for coverage information.
