Safety Recall Campaign 386
This recall campaign is for the replacement of the Air Bag Control Module in Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio models from 2015 to 2018.
The recall is due to an improperly manufactured voltage supply capacitor in the Air Bag Control Module, which may cause the air bag to deploy inadvertently or not deploy at all.
Affected Vehicles
The affected vehicles can be identified through the VIN List in ModisCS+ for the U.S. and Canada.
Repair Procedure
The repair procedure involves replacing the Air Bag Control Module with a new one, which will be performed free of charge to the customer.
The procedure includes disconnecting the battery, removing the central fixing plate, and replacing the Air Bag Control Module.
