The 2014 Porsche Cayenne Platinum Editions come in two models: Cayenne Platinum Edition and Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition.
Engine
The Cayenne Platinum Edition has a 3.6 liter, 6-cylinder engine with 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, while the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition has a 3.0 liter, 6-cylinder engine with 240 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.
Transmission and Performance
Both models have an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission and all-wheel drive with Porsche Traction Management (PTM). The Cayenne Platinum Edition has a top track speed of 142 mph, while the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition has a top track speed of 135 mph.
The Cayenne Platinum Edition goes from 0-60 mph in 7.4 seconds, while the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition goes from 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds.
