New Features and Upgrades
The 2013 Subaru Outback debuts with a new powertrain, featuring a more efficient Boxer engine and a second-generation Lineartronic CVT. The vehicle also introduces the EyeSight driver-assist system, which includes Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Improved Performance and Efficiency
The new engine produces 173 hp and 174 lb.-ft. of torque, with improved low-end torque for more responsive everyday driving. The Outback 2.5i models offer up to 30 mpg highway with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
Enhanced Safety and Convenience
The 2013 Outback adds a new Brake Override system and features a restyled front end with new headlights, grille, and fog lights. The vehicle also offers new amenities, including a Special Appearance Package with Keyless Access & Start and a rear gate unlock touch sensor.
Trim Levels and Options
The Outback is available in three trim levels: base, Premium, and Limited. The Premium models add features like a 10-way power driver’s seat and leather-wrapped steering wheel, while the Limited trim lines offer a standard Lineartronic CVT and perforated leather upholstery.
