Heli-Coil Installation Procedure

This bulletin provides a new procedure to avoid unnecessary replacement of the rear hub holder due to damage to the bolt hole threads.

The procedure involves using a special tool, drill bit, and heli-coil to repair the damaged threads.

Important Notes

Each dealer will receive the necessary tools automatically from MNA Parts Operations.

Service is carried out directly on the vehicle, and suitable eye protection must be worn.

The procedure involves cleaning the hub holder, inserting the heli-coil, and securing it with a nut.

The drill bit must be lubricated with cutting oil, and the damaged threading must be removed by drilling into the nut screw seat.
