Important Before Installation
Before installing the intake system, please read the instructions thoroughly and verify the contents of the kit. Do not install if any parts are missing or damaged.
Preparation
Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable. Let the engine cool down if it has run within the past two hours.
Removing the Stock Intake Tube Assembly
Lift the engine cover and remove the stock intake tube, breather hose, and recirculating hose. Loosen the clam securing the intake tube to the turbo inlet and remove the two clips securing the air scoop.
Step-by-Step Installation
Install the Yz rubber vibration mount, intake bracket, straight silicone coupler, and T-bolt clamps. Install the HPS intake pipe, breather hose, and recirculating hose, and secure everything with nuts and washers.
Remember to disconnect the negative battery cable, let the engine cool down if necessary, and have a professional mechanic install the kit if you are not mechanically inclined.
