Safety Recall V34 Transmission Shift Cable Bushing
This recall applies to 2013-2016 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The transmission shift cable bushing on the transmission end of the shifter cable could deteriorate and become detached from the transmission, resulting in the inability to shift the transmission.
Repair
Replace the transmission shift cable bushing on the transmission end of the shifter cable.
Follow the appropriate Service Procedure for vehicles equipped with 2.0L and 2.4L engines (Page 4) or 1.4L Turbo engine (Page 10).
Important Notes
Dealers should complete this recall service on involved vehicles before retail delivery and on vehicles in for service.
Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.
