Condition
The front lower control arm ball joints might develop greater free play than expected, resulting in a clicking or clunking sound from the front suspension when driving over large bumps.
Correction
Install 4 wedge-lock washers on the lower control arm ball joints and check the front lower control arm ball joints and front knuckles for abnormal wear, replacing if necessary.
Required Parts
Part Number 1004358-00-B and 1033093-00-A, with additional parts listed if necessary.
Procedure
Inspect the front lower control arm ball joints and knuckles, and replace if necessary. Install the wedge-lock washers and torque the nuts to 195 Nm.
