Important Safety Recall
This notice applies to certain Model Year 2010-2015 Ferrari 458 vehicles due to a defect in the brake reservoir fluid cap, which may not vent properly, potentially leading to a partial or total loss of braking capability.
The repair, which includes replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and updating the software, is estimated to take approximately 2 hours and will be performed free of charge by authorized Ferrari dealers.
Important Safety Precautions
If a “Brake fluid level low” message appears on the dashboard, pull off the road safely and contact Ferrari Roadside Assistance. The vehicle’s electric parking brake can be used as an emergency brake when the vehicle is in motion.
