Service Reminder Reset
The service reminder can be reset if service was not performed by an authorized Volkswagen dealer or service facility.
Resetting the service interval display is done through the Settings menu, and the procedure varies depending on the vehicle’s text message display type (Basic or Premium).
Do not reset the service reminder between service intervals, as this will result in incorrect information being displayed.
The service reminder disappears after a few seconds or after pressing the OK button on the windshield wiper lever or the multi-function steering wheel.
Additionally, the oil change service reminder and inspection service reminder can be reset using specific procedures outlined in the manual.
