Condition
The sunroof drain hose material may shrink due to changing environmental conditions, causing the drain hoses to detach from the dash or sunroof module, leading to water leaks into the vehicle interior.
Correction
Dealers are to replace the front sunroof drain hoses.
Service Procedure
The procedure involves removing the windshield garnish molding, sunshade, front assist handle, and headliner to access the drain hose and sunroof drain spigot connection.
The drain hose is then disconnected from the sunroof drain spigot, cowl panel, and windshield pillar, and replaced with a new one.
The procedure is repeated on the opposite side of the vehicle, and a water test is performed before reinstalling the headliner and trim.
