Main Menu
Your 2008 Honda Civic GX runs on compressed natural gas (CNG) and has unique features compared to a gasoline-powered Civic.
It’s essential to read this supplement and the owner’s manual carefully to understand the operation and safety information of your Civic GX.
Instruments and Controls
The instrument panel indicators include the Malfunction Indicator Lamp, which alerts you to potential problems in the engine’s emissions control systems or fuel system.
The Low Fuel Indicator will come on when the fuel level in the tank drops, and the pressure inside the tank drops too.
The fuel gauge shows how much fuel you have, calculated based on the pressure and temperature of the natural gas in the fuel tank.
Note that the fuel gauge may be affected by the tank temperature, fill method, and ambient conditions.
