Parts and Lubricant Recommendations
Chrysler recommends using Mopar@ brand parts, lubricants, and chemicals, which are engineered to meet the specific needs of Chrysler vehicles.
Fluid Types
Only lubricants bearing designations from organizations such as SAE, API, and NLGI should be used. API certification ensures the oil meets all lubrication requirements specified by Chrysler.
Maintenance for Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFV)
FFVs can operate on E-85 fuel, a mixture of 85% ethanol and 15% unleaded gasoline. Special precautions and maintenance recommendations apply when using E-85 fuel.
