Instrument Panel Indicators
The instrument panel indicators briefly appear with each engine start. Red and amber indicators are most critical, while blue and green indicators are used for general information.
Malfunction Indicators
If an indicator remains on, there may be a problem; see your dealer. The indicators include:
Charging system, BRAKE (low brake fluid, brake system), Malfunction indicator lamp (check engine light), Low oil pressure, VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), SRS (Supplemental Restraint System), TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), ABS (Anti-lock Brake System), EPS (Electronic Power Steering System), and BSI (Blind Spot Information System).
Condition Indicators
Action is needed by the driver. The indicators include:
BRAKE (parking brake on), Seat belt reminder, Message indicator, Low fuel, Door/trunk open, Low tire pressure, and Immobilizer.
On/Off Indicators
The indicators include:
PASSENGER AIRBAG, PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF, Fog lights on, SIDE AIRBAG OFF, Headlights on, VSA OFF, Turn signals/hazards on, and CRUISE CONTROL on.
