Installation Overview
This manual provides instructions for installing a cruise control switch in various Dodge and Jeep models.
Vehicle Preparation
Before installation, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the airbag. For Jeep Wrangler applications, remove the 13mm center bolt to take off the steering wheel.
ECM Harness Connections
Remove the ECM connector and press in the tab to access pin locations. Check for wires in pin locations 13, 26, and 27. If wires are present, the installation of the ECM harness is not required.
Control Switch Installation
Drill a 1 1/8″ hole in the center of the existing outline for the switch location. Trim out the remaining ribs inside the steering wheel and use a Dremel or deburring tool to trim to fit the cruise control switch.
