Customer Satisfaction Program 21N11
This program provides a no-cost, one-time repair to the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) for certain 2006-2010 model year Fusion/Milan/MKZI Zephyr vehicles equipped with Anti-Lock Brake Systems.
The program covers vehicles that exhibit extended brake pedal travel after previous repairs. Dealers are to evaluate the brake system and brake pedal travel, and replace the HCU if necessary.
Eligibility
Vehicles must have been previously repaired under Safety Recall 19554 or 20S14, and must exhibit the covered condition.
Owners who have already paid for repairs may be eligible for a refund.
Repair Procedure
Dealers are to inspect and repair affected vehicles at no charge to the owner.
The repair includes evaluating the brake system and brake pedal travel, and replacing the HCU if necessary.
Dealers must use Ford’s Integrated Diagnostic Software system to confirm the proper function of the HCU.
