Introduction
This installation guide is for the Nismo 1.5 inch lift kit for the 2005-20XX Nissan Frontier.
Pre-Installation Preparation
Before starting the installation, please make sure to have the following materials and tools ready: 12mm socket, 14 mm socket, 15mm socket, 7mm socket, 19 mm socket, 21 mm socket, tire iron, torque wrench, needle nose pliers, 3-4 Ib. sledge hammer, floorlpole jack, jack stands, tire chocks, and recommended/optional tools such as penetrant oil, hanger or strap, pitman arm puller, air chisel hammer, coil spring compressor, and air impact wrench.
Installation Steps
The installation process involves several steps, including preparing potentially difficult bolts, securing the truck, raising the truck and removing the wheel, unbolting the sway bar, separating the spindle from the UCA ball joint, removing the strut, and finally, installing the front strut spacer.
It is recommended to have your vehicle’s alignment checked whenever installing new suspension and to adjust your headlights whenever the vehicle’s ride height is altered.
