2003 MY S-TYPE Service Technical Bulletin

Recall Notice

A recall has been issued for 2003 MY S-TYPE vehicles due to a concern with the electronic parking brake (EPB) module, which may unintentionally apply the parking brake without warning, causing the vehicle to decelerate or rear wheels to lock up.

Affected Vehicles

VIN range: M44998-M72584

Repair Actions

Replace EPB module and install wiper motor suppression module and link lead.

Apply new brake fluid warning label.

These repairs must be completed at one visit.
