Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign
This campaign is for certain 2003 FX35/45 vehicles to replace the passenger (RH) side front airbag module.
The service will be performed at no charge to the client for parts or labor.
Repair Overview
Use Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History to confirm this campaign applies.
Register the new front passenger airbag module and replace the old one.
Return the old front passenger airbag module.
Service Procedure
Follow all cautions, warnings, and notices in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) when working on or near a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).
Turn the ignition ON and write down the radio settings, then turn the ignition OFF and disconnect both battery cables.
Wait at least 3 minutes before continuing to step 6.
