This recall involves 2003-2010 Cadillac CTS and 2004-2006 Cadillac SRX models. A defect in the ignition switch may cause unintended key rotation, leading to engine power, power steering, and power braking failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Correction
Dealers are to install two 16mm outer diameter key rings and an insert in the key slot or a cover over the key head on all ignition keys.

All involved vehicles are identified by Vehicle Identification Number on the Investigate Vehicle History screen in GM Global Warranty Management system.
