Airbag Warning Label Recall
This recall involves certain 2003-2004 Chevrolet and GMC vehicles with an incorrect airbag warning label installed on one of the sun visors.
Reason for Recall
The vehicles fail to conform to Federal/Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208, Occupant Crash Protection.
Correction
A new airbag warning label will be installed on both sun visors to eliminate the possibility of installing the label on the wrong sun visor and to keep the appearance consistent.
The correction will take approximately 15 minutes, but the dealer may need the vehicle for a longer period due to service scheduling requirements.
