Important Information for Spare Tire and Tools
This supplement provides additional instructions for removing the spare tire and tools on your 1998 Chevrolet Camaro.
For convertible models, you must remove the trunk access panel, located at the upper back of the trunk, by turning the two screw knobs under the trunk edge and quarter turn counterclockwise.
Storing a Flat or Spare Tire and Tools
Replace the jack, wheel wrench, and flat tire using the storage instructions. Ensure the trim panel is positioned under the weatherstrip.
NOTICE: The tire must fit in the molded area to avoid damaging the glass when closing the hatch/trunk.
