Maintenance Schedule
This schedule outlines the recommended maintenance for your 1996-1997 Land Rover Discovery.
Vehicle Exterior
Inspect wiper blades, lubricate door locks, check straps, and lubricate hood latch and safety catch fuel door hinges.
Vehicle Interior
Check parking brake (Adjust if necessary) and check seat belts.
Under Hood
Inspect coolant hoses, radiator and AC condenser, power steering fluid level, brake fluid level, and change brake fluid.
Under Vehicle
Change engine oil and replace filter, inspect exhaust system and heat shields, inspect tires, and inspect brake lines.
Important: Replace air-cleaner element, charcoal canister, oxygen sensors, and reset service reminder.
Record performance of Service in Passport to Service.
Notification of Service Requirements
Your next service is due in six months or 7,500 miles (12,000 km); whichever is sooner.
